By joining the WBA you are providing the financial support that allows us to fulfill our mission to promote the interests of our member businesses and to encourage economic development in Waldoboro.
We offer the opportunity to participate in group sales and marketing activities, promotions that take advantage of group advertising rates in local papers throughout the year, as well as business networking and sponsoring and supporting our local community.

Networking at our monthly Business After Hours events will allow you to make the fullest use of your membership to promote your business.

INTERACTIVE DIGITAL MAP & GUIDE
The WBA website offers a free descriptive member listing and links to your your email and your website on our interactive digital map & guide. In addition, our full color Rack Card is distributed free locally and throughout the entire mid-coast area and along the Maine Turnpike. It creates awareness of our businesses and the resources available in Waldoboro, as well as a scannable QR code link to the digital map & guide. Our members are also encouraged to place their brochures and information on our freestanding kiosks that are placed in retail locations in town.
Besides networking opportunities, the monthly Business After Hours gathering is a great place to hear guest speakers and members speakers of topics of interest to our businesses.
BUSINESS AFTER HOURS
Throughout the year we strive to promote our businesses in a variety of ways through sponsorships and community awareness events. This is extremely valuable particularly for many of our businesses which are not ‘storefront-type’ businesses.
Our annual meeting and dinner is an opportunity to review the year, elect officers and enjoy the company of our fellow business owners with food, drink and entertainment.
