We want to introduce our newest WBA Board Members (Morganne Price, James Lettney, and Willy Wong), share the 2025 Business After Hours schedule and locations as well as hear from Maine Health Lincoln Hospital about the new medical facility they are building in Waldoboro at 130 Depot St.

What an absolutely fun and delicious night!
Thank you to all 4 businesses. You worked so hard to give us a great experience! It was a fantastic start to the 2024 New Year also. We had several first time guests who are starting businesses in Waldoboro and they all shared that they felt very welcome and that our business community was very supportive and friendly.
Feedback from the hosts is that it is much easier and less costly to co-host a BAH. It generates more "buzz" and seems to result in greater attendance. If you want more information about partnering with another WBA member to co-host a Business After Hours, reach out and email Jessica or David, below.

Membership renewal packages were mailed out in November!
We are happy to report that over 55 new and / or returning member businesses have sent in their 2024 membership dues, so far.
The new WBA Board has made significant progress in rejuvenating our organization!
Our Board is NOW full (9 voting positions). We are happy to welcome Joe Blakey of Ardiah Managed Services and Laetitia Brundage of Kenshin Ranch.
We are a working Board. We have structured subcommittees to cover most of the operations that must be performed to keep everything in motion and improving. We always welcome volunteers on any of our subcommittees. Contact info@waldoborobusiness.org if you are interested in participating and would like to know more.
We are fortunate to have such talented, committed and skilled people in town!

Small Business Saturday, November 25th
This is another opportunity for our community to get to know your business!

"Small Business Saturday isn’t just a day on the calendar. It’s a massive day for making sales. In 2022, an estimated 51 million shoppers participated in the event. Small Business Saturday can be a huge opportunity to meet new customers and grow your business’s profile."
It is recommended that all local businesses take advantage of the Small Business Saturday national event which takes place on the Saturday between the Black Friday holiday shopping day and the online Cyber Monday shopping day. Be ready with specials for local customers on the 25th.
